This stylish linen print in a white frame features the unique design that was created for our Crawia lampshades range.
This design was inspired by the beautiful slate fences along the paths of the north west Wales quarrying areas. In the dictionary, ‘craw’ is defined as ‘a piece of waste slate.’ These are the wastes; the feeble amongst the mighty. But still they stand. Some have described ‘crawia’ as scars. But scars or the imperfect can be beautiful and these ‘crawia’ inspired us to create a textile design for our lampshades. This is our tribute to the ‘crawia’ and the craftsmen who created and installed them.
